ULTRA SOLVY water soluble embroidery film is thick (80 microns), and can be easily used in an embroidery hoop for direct embroidery without using fabric or any additional stabilizers. The result is an incredibly soft and flexible piece of embroidery. The finished embroidered design pattern is simply punched out of the film - no cutting is needed. Embroidered badges and embroidered emblems can be produced quickly and efficiently in this manner. Use Gunold Heat N' Seal, or other BSN backing, to permanently affix this resulting free-standing embroidery to any garment, hat, bag, or virtually any embroidery blank.
Topping: Use ULTRA SOLVY as a topping for soft pile fabrics, knitwear, terry cloth, or whenever highly detailed embroideries would disappear in the material. ULTRA SOLVY residual simply tears away, and any remainder is removed by a spritz from a water bottle.
Backing: Use ULTRA SOLVY as a backing for embroidery blanks where both fabric sides are visible to the end user, and residual visual backing is undesirable. ULTRA SOLVY residual simply tears away, and any remainder is removed by a spritz from a water bottle.
